Business Integrity

We do not give or receive, whether directly or indirectly, bribes or other improper advantages for business or financial gain. No employee may offer, give or receive any gift or payment, which is, construed as being, a bribe.

Any concerns about potential bribery must be reported to a manager, supervisor, or an appropriate compliance contact. Anyone working for Mechem who fails to comply with applicable anti-corruption policy and laws of the company may face disciplinary action that could include dismissal.

Our accounting records and supporting documents accurately describes and reflects the nature of the underlying transactions. No undisclosed or unrecorded account, fund or asset will be established or maintained.

Community Involvement

We aim to be a trusted corporate citizen. We fulfill our responsibilities to the societies in which we operate.

Business Partners

We source our material through top aluminum producers around the world to ensure a liquid portfolio and diversified range of products to end-users. Our strong relationships with producers ensure continuous supply capacity and risk mitigation.

We are also committed in establishing mutually beneficial relations with our suppliers and business partners.

In our business dealings, we expect our partners to adhere to business principles consistent with that of our own.

Conflict of interest

We expect our employees to avoid personal activities and financial interests, which could conflict with their responsibilities to the company.

Political contribution

We do not permit any of our funds and resources to be used as a contribution towards a political campaign, political party, political candidate or any affiliated organisation.

Protecting and maintaining assets

We are all responsible for group assets that are under our control. These assets include business opportunities, funds, property, and proprietary information, and personal equipment (such as mobile devices, computers and access right to our IT infrastructure)

All Mechem information systems and data stored in systems, regardless of location are the property of Mechem. Mechem`s data and information systems are vital resources and must always be used responsible. We may monitor the use of our IT resources; this includes email, internet use, file storage and computer access. The monitoring may record any misuse of systems.

Processing and storage of information that is contrary to the business policy will be considered as breach of local laws and regulation. Everyone working for Mechem must ensure they are aware of rules regarding unacceptable use of Mechem`s IT resources and comply with the relevant acceptable agreement.

Personal Information and privacy

We only collect and retain personal information that is reasonably necessary to meet business requirements and permitted by law.

Intellectual property

Intellectual property is information owned by Mechem. It includes, patent rights, design rights, database extraction rights, rights in know-how, other confidential information and rights under intellectual property related agreements.
We protect our intellectual property assets as well as our physical assets.
